Over the past eleven years Blue Kettle Specialty Foods has grown from a home based business to a company which now has their own food processing facility in St. Albert.

Initially, Blue Kettle manufactured three different specialty food products which were sold at the St. Albert Farmers Market.  The product line has now expanded to fifteen items. Blue Kettle products are sold at numerous retail food outlets throughout the province of Alberta, and are also being used in the foodservice sector in the Edmonton and Calgary area. In addition, we have recently expanded Blue Kettle products into the private label category.

Our product line continues to grow as we address the needs and wants of our consumers. The Farmers Market's we attend give us an indispensable opportunity to talk to our customers and gather information in regards to food trends and requests.

We feel that it is important to recognize the information received from customers and use that in our product development. As a result we have developed specific products that address food allergies, intolerances, and dietary needs.

 

Blue Kettle received the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award of Distinction in 2007.
